MISS TAKES ONLINE TABLE READ
Thursday, June 25 · 6–8 PM (CT) On Zoom — join from wherever you are
Your script, out loud, for the first time.
There's nothing like hearing your words in other people's voices. Dialogue you've read silently a hundred times suddenly tells you everything — what sings, what stalls, which joke actually lands. That's what table reads are for, and that's what this night is.
Open to all — writers, readers, and the curious. Here's how it works: writers bring scripts, the group reads them aloud together, and then we talk about it — honest, kind feedback from people who get how vulnerable it is to share. Want to bring something? You can submit up to 2 scripts per writer. Rather just lend your voice and read parts for someone else? We need you too — readers make the night work, and there's no better way to study what's on the page.
No experience needed, and no camera required — this is all about the voices, so join in comfy clothes from wherever you are. Bring your script, your voice, or just your ears.

Free, like always. Log on a few minutes early so we can start reading on time.
A note before you join: Sharing original work takes guts, and this space honors that. Please respect every writer's work, and keep all feedback professional and kind. Harassment or disrespectful behavior of any kind will not be tolerated — participants who cross that line will be removed from the session. Writers retain all rights to their work; please do not record, copy, or share anyone's script without their permission.
See you on the 25th. 🎬
