Intern With Us (College Credit Eligible – Hybrid Opportunity)

Miss Takes Film Club offers a hands-on internship experience for eligible college students seeking course credit or real-world creative experience. We're an official internship partner with Houston Community College and welcome students from other institutions as well.

This is a hybrid internship, combining remote work and in-person collaboration in Houston, TX.

What You’ll Do

Interns collaborate across all phases of our filmmaking process, with opportunities to focus on areas like:

  • Film Production – Assist during shoots and scene workshops

  • Pre-Production Meetings – Help plan projects in-person or via Zoom

  • Editing & Post-Production – Work with directors to cut scenes, add sound, color correct, and prep final deliverables

  • Social Media – Help craft and post content for ongoing projects and events

  • Writers’ Studio – Read scripts, offer feedback, and join writing sessions

  • Actors’ Studio – Support rehearsals and table reads

  • Event Production – Help us run social hours, screenings, and our Honorable Mentions Showcase for college filmmakers

Hybrid Format

  • Remote: Editing, script reading, social media, team calls

  • In-Person: Shoots, rehearsals, live events, and creative meetups in Houston

Who Can Apply?

  • Houston Community College students (official internship partner)

  • Students from other colleges (must confirm internship credit eligibility)

  • Must be Houston-based or able to attend some in-person events
