About the series

What's That Take — Community Stories is Miss Takes Film Club's nonfiction interview series. We go out into Houston, sit down with organizations doing meaningful work, and let them tell their story on camera.

Each episode is conducted by a Miss Takes member serving as interviewer — giving them real, hands-on experience in documentary filmmaking, community journalism, and storytelling.

This is film in service of community. Every organization featured is doing work that matters — and we believe their stories deserve to be seen.
